Reconstruction of catheterization rooms and facilities

The subject of the project documentation and construction implementation were the building modifications in the basement of the object D1, incl. in-building of two catheterization rooms and facilities. The new angiographic devices for interventional cardiology and electrophysiology were installed in the catheterization rooms. This is the most modern hall complex within the cardiovascular centers in the Czech Republic.

In addition to the reconstruction of the two catheterization rooms, the building modifications also included the reconstruction of their facilities, i.e. control rooms, patient preparation rooms and doctors' washrooms, dressing rooms, material stores and day rooms.

The installation system of the EP MEDICAL operating room consists of metal cladding, metal automatically sliding and revolving doors, metal cassette suspended ceilings, into which the end elements of air conditioning with the third stage of filtration and lighting are integrated. The metal wall system, doors and viewing windows are equipped with protection against X-ray radiation. The new floors are made of electrostatic PVC. The doctors' washrooms were equipped with stainless steel washing troughs with touchless faucets and touchless soap and disinfectant dispensers.

The structure of the cleanroom in-building allows the easy placement of electrical installation, air conditioning and media distributions. The individual components of the in-building are washable and resistant to the disinfectants.

The work also included the treatment of cleanrooms with environmental technology (HVAC, cooling, heating, MaR, low voltage distributions, artificial lighting, medical gases, etc.).

The construction works were carried out while the catheterization rooms were in operation.
