Building an operating theater and facilities for one-day surgery

The Silesia Medical clinic in Ostrava-Poruba decided to expand the care of its patients and build a new one-day surgery department.

Our company developed the executive project documentation and subsequently realized the construction of the operating theater and facilities for the new one-day surgery department.

The operating theater installation system EP MEDICAL consists of a multifunctional system of metal partitions and facings, which allows for easy placement of wiring distributions, air conditioning and media, as well as the installation of built-in cabinets for storing operating material. The built-in system also includes metal automatically sliding and revolving doors, metal coffered ceilings, into which the end elements of air conditioning with the third stage of filtration (laminar fields) and lighting are integrated. The individual components of the installation are washable and resistant to the action of disinfectants. The new floors are made of electrostatic PVC.

The work also included the treatment of cleanrooms with environmental technology (ventilation, cooling, heating, low-voltage distributions, MaR, etc.).

The construction works were carried out while the clinic was in operation.
